11 Blumenwall
You now cross the 'Mühlenexter' (a creek in the rearpart of the museum) and turn to the Blumenwall. This northwest part of the old fortress, razed in 1807, was given to the municipal government and changed into a park. Passing the old , shady trees that line the park alley you come again to the ‘Mühlenexter’. From here you walk along the narrow ‘Wallgasse’ and a few minutes later you are back to the Rinteln centre.
